Arabajam Translation Inc. was honored to provide professional simultaneous interpretation at the recent high-level workshop hosted by Nazaha (the Oversight and Anti-Corruption Authority) in Riyadh from May 5 to May 8, 2025. The event, held in collaboration with the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), focused on the implementation of recommendations from the UN Convention against Corruption and the exchange of experiences among States Parties.
The workshop was part of the broader framework of the Mechanism for the Review of Implementation of the Convention — a vital initiative aimed at enhancing accountability and cooperation across nations. The Convention, with 191 States Parties as of May 2025, covers five key areas: preventive measures, criminalization and law enforcement, international cooperation, asset recovery, and technical assistance.
Participants included senior anti-corruption officials, legal experts, and representatives from international bodies who discussed challenges and best practices in implementing the Convention’s recommendations. Arabajam’s expert interpreters ensured seamless communication across Arabic and English, enabling full participation and understanding during all sessions.
